Yes it is truly shocking.

I think it is a constant worry for many, how much should you question your doctors? It puts you in a difficult position, as you don't want to annoy the person on whom you are relying for your care, but on the other hand, don't you feel like an idiot for NOT questioning someone for something they are going to do (potentially harmful) to your body?

I think actually a lot of people DON'T question and don't even think to question their doctors.

Doctors are in a very powerful position and it's quite easy for them to abuse this power.
