Levinas and Freud
Talmudic Inflections in Ethics and Psychoanalysis
 
I argue that the Levinasian Talmudic hermeneutic opens the possibility of making audible the muted Talmudic basis of Freud's psychoanalytic practice and shows the way toward the development of an ethical psychoanalysis.
